Interview with Abder Kabous

(www.TheAtlasLions.com/26 Apr 2005) Here's an exclusive interview with Abderrahmane Kabous former Moroccan olympic international and IFK Norrkoping striker.

PRESENTATION

Q: Could you present yourself to the Moroccan audience?

-My name is Kabous Abderrahman. I am 21 years old and my height is 1m 85 and I weigh 78kg.

Q: Which are your qualities and defaults on the pitch?

-I have a good vision of the play, I am a good ball winner and I address the passes well. Sometimes I tend to hold the ball too much.

Q: From which town do you originate from in Morocco, and do you visit it often?

-I am from Casablanca and I go back there from time to time.

Q: Which interest do you have?

-My interests are to promote to the top flight with IFK Norrkoping and to give my all for the team.

IFK NORRKOPING

Q: What is the status of your contract and for you as a player?

-I have a professional contract of 1 year.

Q: The life in Sweden?

-Sweden is a very beautiful country and life is extremely well.

Q: Your ambitions with IFK Norrkoping and at the personal level?

-My ambitions are to promote to the top flight and to gain experience.

Q: Which difference do you find in the play between France, Sweden and Morocco?

-There is not much difference according to me. Swedish football is at the same time physical and technical.

MOROCCO

Q: You have already represented the Atlaslions cubs. Could you tell us about it?

-Yes, I have played for the juniors and for the Olympic team. I participated in the qualifiers for the African nation’s cup for juniors.

Q: Do you believe that you will wear the national team shirt at a higher level in the future?

-Yes, but in time I need to improve my form.

Q: Do you have contact with representatives of the FRMF?

-No, I don’t have any new contact.

Do you follow the National team regularly?

-Yes I do.

Q: What did you think about the performance of the Atlas Lions during CAN 2004?

-Their performance was excellent during the CAN 2004.

OTHERS:

Q: Which is your favourite team?

-Real Madrid.

Q: And according to you the best player is?

-According to me the best player in the world is Zinedine Zidane.
