Interview Youssef El Akchaoui

1-Tell us about yourself, who is Youssef El Akchaoui?
I am a left defender, 24 years old and born on February 2nd 1981 in Dordrecht (The Netherlands)
2-Where form in Morocco are you originated and do you visit Morocco from time to time?
My family is from Kebdani, a village between Nador and Dar Driouche. I try to visit Morocco every year.
3-which are your qualities and defaults as a player?
I think I am a fast defender with a good pass. Sometimes I make unnecessary fouls.
4-What are your ambitions with ADO Den Haag?
I would like to play in the UEFA Cup or Champions League with ADO.
5-Do you have offers from other clubs in Holland and abroad?
I do not know if other clubs are interested.
6-Is the National team of morocco something you think about and have you had any contact with their representantives?
I hope I will receive an invitation for the national team in the future. That will be like a dream come true. No, I have never had any contact with representatives of the Moroccan national team.
7-Do you have any contact with other moroccan players in Holland?
Yes, I keep in touch with almost every Moroccan player in the Dutch premier league.
8-Your best football moment?
The two goals I made as a defender, the championship with first division club Excelsior and the nine years I spend with Feyenoord.
9-What kind of music and movies do you like?
I like Arabian and European music. Furthermore I like to watch maffia-movies like The Godfather and Scarface.
10-Tell us about your time in Union Berlin
It was a very nice experience and I learned a lot in the capital of Germany.
11-Who is your favourite player? And who is your role model?
My favourite players are Roy Keane, Roberto Carlos and Eric Cantona.
12-Is Driss El Akchaoui who plays for FC Utrecht your brother?
Yes, he is my brother. Football is an important part of our life, we live for it!
